Grief Relief
We are delighted to be partnered with national organisation Erin's Angels on their Grief Relief project, delivered jointly with Act it Out CIC and facilitated by funeral celebrant and bereavement counsellor Jill Young, these sessions are aimed at anyone on a grief journey of any kind. Each session has a theme that Jill guides participants through but is also relaxed and informal allowing people to share their experiences, or just sit in silence and absorb. Following a 4 month pilot project in Holyhead we are very excited to have now received funding to be able to extend this throughout the year and across the island.
IMPACT
Our 4 month pilot project
- Ran 4 sessions on different themes
- Saw between 6 and 10 people attend each session
- has now secured significant funding to be able to roll this out accross the island.
Our Partners
Erin's Angels mission is to provide end of life companionship and support for patients and their families.
We believe that nobody should feel alone during terminal diagnosis or transition, not the patient, nor their families and children. Through our 3 branches of work we aim to make a difference to thousands of people across the U.K. and beyond, who are coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis, caring for someone with a terminal diagnosis or are the children who have lost parents or siblings at a young age.

Act It Out is a small Community Interest Company based in Cheshire. Led by our two co-directors, we are a multi-faceted performance arts and education based enterprise offering:
